In Me...

Things seem to be moving 120 mph around everyday. I honestly like that for it keeps me on my toes. I been thinking over and over what can I do to make my blog, soon to be a website more effective. It needs more. I definately know what I am capable of. Even though school is a priority to me right now I feel I should not let that or work keep me from doing what I like. I think I am Superwoman at times I try to do a million things at once and for the most part I do pull it off. Me and my camera is going to get to workin, I hope everyone is having a great afternoon. I will also be adding new music to the podcast for your listening pleasure. Mostly from local artists I have came to fall in love with as well as some songs you may know. One.

Inspirational Thought #6

These last week has definitely took me there yet I have been in the calmest mood ever. I am shocked usually somewhere I would have jumped into the deep in. Things are different now could it be I possibly grew up. Maybe I learned to control my anger. Whatever it was I'm glad it changed because there is nothing like having drama bring you down. I keep my head up everyday. Say what you want be you bring me down. I control my own actions and thoughts. Everyone need to keep that mindset as well. We dont need the weight on our backs from the upsets in our lives. Stand up straight and walk like you own this. I know I do.

Inspirational Thought #5

Working in the customer service industry you are put in the position to speak with a lot of different people. I have had the honor of speaking to some of the sweetest people and some of the rudest people calling me all types of names, but yet I manage to leave work without a headache. I walk into working anticipating the day, for I never really know who is going to throw me a curve ball, the guests, management, or my fellow colleagues. What I do know I will not let they play a factor in the outcome of my day, and neither should anyone else.

Spotlight Artist

I am a huge fan of any musician that comes out of the Midwest, and no its not the only reason I love them but that individual to blow up on the music scene makes me even happier to be living where I do. Throughout the 90's a lot of artists were signature for their style of rapping fast. You remember Bone Thugs and Harmony, Crucial Conflict, Da Brat, Do or Die, and my Spotlight Artist Twista.

Twista has be on the on the music scene for quite some time. He has been rapping since the age of 12 signing with Loud Records back in '91, so that makes about the age of 6yrs old. If we all can think back Twista made the World Guinness Book of Records for his electrifying fast pace style of rapping, which he later had to defend and reclaimed to be the fastest rapper in the world. Ouch, got to love it.

Twista later moving working with other rappers such as Do or Die, for their hit "Po Pimp," I loved me some Johnny P. He also worked with other Midwest artist such as Da Brat, Crucial Conflict, and R&B sensation R. Kelly.

Twista has been releasing music nonstop since he has hit the music scene but do to lack of album promotion its like he is here and gone the next. I know talent were talents is and no matter how bumpy it may be I will like many other fans will be there for the success of his latest album, Category F5 .

Official Jwork Limited Music

You thought we stopped at clothes, you must not have been paying attention. We are taking over the fashion scene. Our parties have been nothing but fire. We have the biggest fashion showcase coming in September 11, C.O. Tour Fashion Showcase, we giving the Columbus community so much love with our volunteering, we have made t.v appearances and kicked with some of the most talented celebrities in their field who knows we are for real and its OFFFFFIIIICCCIIIAAALLLL we have a hot song to go along with that. The song is in the podcast check it out, its called "So Clean" by MGK (Machine Gun Kelly). You thought we were just some group of designers, or maybe you didn't know at all but sorry to disappoint you, we are the biggest movement that Columbus has came across, we are getting support all over and we are traveling to the end of the world literally to make it known. Our grind don't stop there. Jwork Limited, remember the name.

Inspirationsl Thoughts #4

It is 535am and I am up and not tired at all. You probably wondering why is Destiny up at this time of morning I have been inspired. I get moments in my life like this that brings out my creativity at weird times, like for instance I heard one song tonight and instantly was in awe and decided to re-do the song. I completed my parts and waiting on Skeptik to do the final verse, I am proud of it. No matter how hectic your life may be do not hold back on the things u enjoy doing. I did and found myself agitated and handling anger in all the wrong ways which tore me up inside. I always used writing as my outlet of expression and when I stopped I didn't know how to handle those setbacks in my life. Well that is in the past and you will see more of me writing. I'm back. Thanks for listening.

Inspirational Thoughts #3

It's hard sometime to get over grudges you have against people. Its even harder to ignore a person when you see them everywhere but we have to in order to move on mentally. I remember some incidences that happen during my freshman year college which some people i was going to hate and wished them the worse luck ever, but thats not good. I had to realize that people are ignorant and things will happen but how we surpass these things is the real test. I learned to turn my anger into a positive. I found writing for me has been great. I feel its helping me. What are somethings you do to stay calm?

Let's B.Yonest... and Keep It Real

On Thursday I went out to Scorpion Cafe on 161 to support my boy Byonest. It was a hip hop showcase of some of the many talented musicians in the city of Columbus. He was great and so was some of the other performers. I try to get out and check out as many local artists as possible. This is where a lot of the talent lie before many go off and sign to those many record labels out there. Many people say that when they get signed they will always keep it real and not allow the record execs change them but then money is thrown in front of them and all respect is lost. I don't see that happening here. If you would like more info on Byonest because he is all over the net, check him out at:

Hip-Hop Magazines At A Decline

Maybe its just me but a good Hip-Hop Magazine is hard to come by. Back in the 90's, The Source Magazine was my magazine of choice. They were infamous for keeping u connected to the culture. There was no he say she say nonsense, before Benzino took over. Anyone who graced the cover needed to be there. Definitely received your moneys worth each month. They did not focus on the beef in the industry or just who who was popular now. They made took part in helping to squash the beef and showcasing how our favorite Hip-Hop artists are contributing to the Hip-Hop community. I looked forward to see who made the Unsigned Hype column each month, they were recognizing raw talent at its best. They were a magazine with pure quality and consistency, but then that soon came to a end. When Benzino bought The Source Magazine I lost all respect for the magazine. Every cover seemed to be consistent each month attacking Eminem and the 50 Cent camp. The price increased and the magazine got smaller looking more like XXL at the time then what we all was accustomed to. From there I had stop purchasing, because they lost there substance. That really hurt The Source Magazine in my eyes, and as they were fading in my eyes XXL magazine was picking up where The Source left off. Hip-Hop Magazines are already rare so this is disappointing for the fans that enjoyed their magazine so much. I am still not a huge fan of XXL magazine but I have noticed they are getting a lot better on the issues they address and not just a man's magazine because for a while it seem to be that way. Will XXL be the new true Hip-Hop magazine, or will The Source revive from the dark shadows and reclaim there spot as #1 Hip Hop Magazine because I definitely know they have what it takes.

Inspirational Thoughts #2

Things definitely happen for a reason. We question ourselves why does this have to happen to me. Could it be that by this happening its a lesson to ourselves that teaches us to better ourselves. Everyone blames everything on bad luck, or its just who we, are but know for you to become a better individual you need to be able to overcome any obstacle in life big or small. Don't point the finger, correct the situation.

Destiny's Legend's

In my eyes a Legend is someone who does something that moves everyone internationally, for when they are no longer with us there contribution to the culture carries on. Thats the status I want to be. Legends are not limited to just musicians, or athletes, this expands across a various diverse areas, such as community service leaders, politicians, teachers, doctors, maybe someone in your life who legacy is worth to be remembered. In my first post goes to....
