On Thursday I went out to Scorpion Cafe on 161 to support my boy Byonest. It was a hip hop showcase of some of the many talented musicians in the city of Columbus. He was great and so was some of the other performers. I try to get out and check out as many local artists as possible. This is where a lot of the talent lie before many go off and sign to those many record labels out there. Many people say that when they get signed they will always keep it real and not allow the record execs change them but then money is thrown in front of them and all respect is lost.
